In December 2010, Xuan Liu traveled to Sanremo, Italy, to compete in the Italian Poker Tour. She finished first in the €1,000 + 100 No Limit Hold ’em for a €48,000 money prize.
She hit a breakthrough in April 2011 at the EPT tournament in Sanremo. Finishing 3rd in the €5,000 + 300 No Limit Hold ’em Main Event, she won a mouth-watering €360,000 ($524,705) cash prize.
Then came 2012, a career-defining year for Xuan Liu. She traveled to Paradise Island in the Bahamas to compete in the Caribbean Adventure. After an excellent performance in the 1,072-entry $10,000 + 300 No Limit Hold ’em Main Event, she finished 4th to win her career’s biggest live cash, $600,000.

The year 2017 was another great year for Xuan Liu as she made her mark at the WPT—Fallsview Poker Classic in Niagara Falls. She dominated the C$2,300 + 200 No Limit Hold ’em event and finished 1st for C$304,056 ($232,114) in prize money.
In 2019, she competed again at the 52nd WSOP. Finishing 33rd in the 604-entry $5,000 No Limit Hold ’em 6 Handed Event, she cashed out a $15,200 cash prize. She also cashed out €23,580 at the EPT €5,300 No Limit Hold ’em Main Event in Barcelona in August 2022.
In September, she again performed remarkably well at the Tour Poker Masters. She played in the $10,000 No Limit Hold ’em event. Liu finished third for a $96,200 cash prize.
