• Three or Eleven: Much like the or 12 bets, players win if a 3 or 11 is rolled on the next roll after their bet is placed. Any other number rolled constitutes a loss.
• Any Seven: Any seven indicates that the player predicts that the very next roll will result in the number 7 being rolled. Since seven is the number with combinations, this bet has the highest probability of winning on any given roll.
• Any Craps: Numbers 2, 3, and 12 are commonly referred to as “craps numbers”. When a player places a bet on any craps, they are wagering that the next roll will add up to one of these numbers.

Hedge bets are an example of a strategy that aims to protect players’ bets if a roll doesn’t go as planned. This involves placing a bet on any seven simultaneously to making a place bet. This effectively pays whether the place number is rolled or a seven is rolled before the place number. This strategy is not fool-proof, though. Since any seven bets are only effective for one roll, to take advantage of the protection, you would have to place a bet on any sevens each time a number other than your place number or 7 is rolled, which could get costly.

The Iron Cross

This strategy is designed to help winners win fast and walk away. The idea behind this strategy is to cover as many numbers as possible, win on the first roll, collect your winnings, and leave the table. Here’s how it works:

• Place a field bet (covers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12)
• Execute place bets on 5, 6, and 8

Using this betting strategy wins on 30 of the possible 36 rolls of a dice, which are pretty good odds. However, should you lose a round playing the Iron Cross method, your losses are far larger than your wins would be.

Don’t Pass Plus Lay Odds, with Lay 4 and 10
